Using Pic-Time as our Client Delivery Platform
When you start a creative business like photography there are things that you want to spend money on and there are things you don’t want to spend money on. Camera’s, lenses, bags and gadgets and gizmo’s are all the rage. Who wouldn’t want to spend money and get a new fancy lens? But, on a more realistic approach one of the biggest things you need to consider is how you will get your photos to your clients? There is Dropbox, email, Amazon, Adobe, Pixieset, Pic-Time and many others.
When we started off we initially went with Pixieset. It was fairly inexpensive and gave our clients the ability to receive and download their images quickly. It worked for us for a while and did exactly what it was intended to do. Then we heard about Pic-Time. Pic-time was Pixieset but on steroids. The galleries were beautiful, we could create and deliver slideshows AND we had the ability to partner with Pic-Time on a way to offer our clients affordable prints that were better than Walgreens, Shutterfly or other online print ordering companies. For us it was a no brainer. Pic-Time quickly became our platform. Now, as our client gallery continues to grow and the amazing product offerings with Pic-Time our clients get a unique experience in their delivery system. Family galleries ensure that they only have one link that provides them access to all their sessions with us. For our wedding clients, we are able to deliver beautiful slideshows that are curated for their wedding photo reveals. The ability to load videos into their album provides another layer of elegance.
